Pandit is worried but not hopeless. In a very political single, the main character is Pedro, the man that in theory made Brazil independent. Inspiration came from the picture that illustrates the record: a portrait of the construction of the "Independence Monument" in São Paulo. Looking at the picture, there's an eerie feeling is that something is still unfinished in this land.

Musically this record is a gap between the heavy dub excursion of the last one and Pandit's gentle moments. But don't get me wrong: it's still dubby, but this time some sort of dusty lovers rock, Pollitti before the fame and sad Russell type of thing. Lots of harmonica in a non-harmonic world.
